COSTS - Logistics

= My role within the presentation writing = COSTS

= Essential that when working out the logistics of the costs that it is as low as possible 
= Most of the equipment needed for the workshop involving screen printing and stamping work can come from the university 
= eg. the portable screens A1 size 
= The binder for the paints which we get for free at uni anyway 
= Would be important to note that all these things would need to be transported to the location, which could potentially cost money if the university doesn't have this available 
= It might be important to note down that if these items from university cannot be provided for free how much they would cost if we had to buy them elsewhere 

= Somewhat had to guess the quantity of everything as it hasn't been discussed in the group yet which location would be chosen and therefore how many people could be involved in a session at a time 
= Assuming that there would be parents for younger children and more families than students, there should be lots of stamps for the younger people, who will find this easier, and less screens for screen printing for those older 

= Keeping the colours limited to 3 colours ensures simplicity and that the people coming won't feel overwhelmed if they are not particularly creative 
= It also ensures the consistency between the designs and means there would not be too much alteration between the aesthetic

CHANGES TO COST TABLE

 = LOCATION = Cardigan Centre = £32 on the weekend, the most appropriate time as this is when kids and students are most free 

= Most expensive time slot for this venue but it's not that high for us to be able to choose this session 

= Quantities changed for screens and stamps 

= If the venue and session could hold up to 50 people, this means there needs to be enough stamps for everyone, not just one per person 

= Laser cutting costs comes from the cost of the wood you buy = It's large enough for 50 stamps to be made in one sheet = £8 = £10 for surplus
